Mulanur is Selection Grade Town Panchayat in Tiruppur
District and is very famous for the Drum stick and Farms. Mulanur Sri
Vanjiamman Temple is one of the famous temples of this District. The Town
Panchayat was originally religious centre with the presence of large number of
temples, churches. The town has gained importance especially by DrumStick, Chilly, Gloriosa superba
(for Medicine purpose) cultivation.

15 wards, 42 hamlets and 2 Revenue Villages. Drinking
water distributed from Kodumudi Cauvery river by Combined Water Supply Scheme.
