Mondaicadu Town Panchayat is covering under the famous temple of Arulmigu Mondaicadu Bhagavathi Amman. Festivel will be celebrate every year month of March-April. This Temple also called “Lady’s Sabarimalai” Each and every day nearly 300 devotes arriving for praying. Mondaikadu Town Panchayat was constituted on 1977 as Second Grade Town Panchayat. The area of the town panchayat is 2.2 sq. kms covering one Manavalakurichi & Mondaikadu revenue Village. The Population of Town was 15980 as per 2015 census consisting 7933 men and 8047 women. This town Panchayat was delimited to 15 wards. The local body election was held on 25.10.2011 for the post of Town Panchayat chairman and 15 wards Councillors. The Panchayat council the Political arm of the Town consists of 15 elected councilors each representing a ward. The Chairman heads Town Panchayat council, which performs its duties as per the provisions of the District Municipalities Act 1920. The Political wing provides direction to the Town Panchayat and performs its functions through a set of committees constituted for different purposes. The Executive wing is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Town Panchayat and is headed by the Executive Officer. The Executive Officer is the Administrative head of the Town Panchayat and is supported by different departments in the operations. The Organizational structure comprises of Four functional department.

கன்னியாகுமரி மாவட்டம், நாகர்கோவில் மண்டலத்தில் மண்டைக்காடு பேருராட்சி தற்போது இரண்டாம் நிலை பேருராட்சியாக செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது. 2015-ம் ஆண்டு மக்கள் தொகை கணக்கெடுப்பின்படி மண்டைக்காடு பேருராட்சியின் மக்கள் தொகை 15980 ஆகும். இப்பேருராட்சியின் மொத்த பரப்பளவு 2.2 சதுர கிலோ மீட்டர் ஆகும். இப்பேருராட்சியின் மொத்த சாலைகளின் நீளம் 24.50 கி.மீ ஆகும். இப்பேருராட்சி குளச்சல் செல்லும் நெடுஞ்சாலையில் அமைந்துள்ளது. இப்பேருராட்சி 15 வார்டுகளை கொண்டது. இப்பேருராட்சிக்குட்பட்ட பகுதியில் அருள்மிகு பகவதியம்மன் கோவில் முக்கிய ஸ்தலமாக அமைந்துள்ளது.
