Thiruneermalai is a Town Panchayat in Kancheepuram district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Thiruneermalai Town Panchayat constituted in the year of 1899. The Town is coming under the administrative territory of Kancheepuram District. The Town extends over an area of 4.80 sq.km. The Town is situated along 24 KM South West of the Chennai City. It is a hill, and the temple on that hill, outside the Indian city of Chennai. It is chiefly known for its extensive use in filming, and also for being the most favoured temple for eloping couples to get married.

திருநீர்மலை பேரூராட்சி சென்னை மாநகரை ஒட்டியுள்ள நகரமாகும். இதன் பரப்பு 4.80 சதுர கிலோ மிட்டர் கொன்டது. இப்பேரூராட்சியில் மொத்தம் 18 வார்டுகள் உள்ளன. இதில் மக்கள் தொகை சுமார் 35,000க்கு மேல் வசிக்கிறார்கள். 108 திவ்ய தரிசனங்களில் ஒன்றான அருள்மிகு அரங்கநாத பெருமாள் நின்றான், நடந்தான், இருந்தான், கிடந்தான் என்ற நான்கு நிலைகளில் எழுந்தருளி காட்சிதரும் திருக்கோயில் அமைப்பெற்றுள்ள திருத்தலம்.
