WATER SUPPLY
Existing:
Water source for the town is taped from Caveri river’ infiltration well which is 79 kms from the town. The taped water is pumped to an OHT located at 200 meter from the Main Pumping Line and then it is distributed to the nearby village trough gravity flow. At present, 1.2 MLD of water is being supplied to the town @ 70 lpcd. The total length of the town water supply distribution system is 24 kms.
